The lilacs bloom for about two weeks and that window is worth chasing. Lollygagging in Lonsdale is a 26km rolling loop through Tyendinaga — one of our favourite short rides in the whole library, and perfectly timed for a Wednesday evening when the air smells like spring and there’s nowhere else you’d rather be.
Nobody is racing. The whole point is to be out there when the county looks like this.
About 1.5 hours. Short enough to be home before dark, good enough to make the drive worth it. Not a techy ride — it’s a groovy one. All bikes welcome.
Adam and Laura will lead. No one gets left behind.
Meet at 5:00 PM, wheels down at 5:15 PM.
Bring: helmet, lights, water, snacks, and a working bike. First time? Sign the waiver at boq.bike/waiver before you roll up.
