June is when the riding gets good and the Dutch Baby is ready for it. 43km of rolling mixed roads north of Belleville with real climbing — not brutal, just real. The kind of ride where you’re working steadily and enjoying every minute of it.
The roads up here are why we got into this whole thing. Farm country, good gravel, and the kind of quiet that’s hard to find anywhere else.
About 2.5 hours. This is the most climbing in the early part of the season and it’s a fantastic introduction to what Hastings County road riding actually feels like. A sturdy hybrid handles it just fine.
